Greenfields Petroleum Corporation Announces Grant of Common Shares

Greenfields Petroleum Corp. (the "Company" or "Greenfields") (TSX VENTURE:GNF)(TSX VENTURE:GNF.DB), announces that, further to the January 29, 2015 press release of the Company, it has issued an aggregate of 55,685 common shares of the Company ("Common Shares"), at a deemed price of CDN$1.00 (USD$0.862) per Common Share, to certain directors of the Company in satisfaction of director fees payable to such directors in the aggregate amount of CDN$55,685 (USD$48,000). The Company received final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange with respect to such issuance on February 20, 2015. The Common Shares will be subject to a four-month hold period from the date of issuance.
