VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/24/11 -- Victor J.E. Jones, President and CFO of Great Quest Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: GQ)(FRANKFURT: GQM) announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Dianne Szigety as Corporate Secretary. The appointment replaces Ms. Nestoruk whom the board wishes to thank for her many years of service to the Company.
Ms. Szigety has over 25 years' experience in the securities industry and is an associate member of Chartered Secretaries Canada, a Canadian Division of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She provides corporate, securities and administrative services on a consulting basis to public companies, including regulatory, corporate governance and continuous disclosure to securities regulators and stock exchanges.
The Board has today granted an incentive option to acquire 100,000 shares in the capital of the Company at $2.69 per share for a five year period, subject to vesting provisions, in accordance with the Company's Stock Option Plan.
