PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwired - Sept. 8, 2014) - Gold producer, Troy Resources Limited (ASX:TRY) (TSX:TRY) is pleased to advise that the Preliminary Feasibility Study, Smarts - Hicks Open Pits, Karouni Gold Project, Guyana Technical Report (NI 43-101) (Technical Report) has been completed as required by the Canadian Securities Regulators. The report documents the Preliminary Feasibility Study for an open pit mining operation at the Karouni Gold Project.

The Technical Report follows on from the results of the Karouni Open Cut Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) released to ASX on 28 July 2014. All material assumptions underpinning the results of the PFS continue to apply and have not materially changed.
