Rolling Educational Tool to Visit New Brunswick and Newfoundland for
the First Time
Chevron Canada Limited, the Canadian distributor and seller of the Delo ?
brand of technologically advanced engine oils, lubricants and coolants,
today announced that its Delo Truck will be heading to Canada for the
first time this year. The Truck will make 11 appearances ? supporting
Chevron lubricant marketers and their customers′ locations ? in Ontario,
Quebec, New Brunswick and Newfoundland over a three week period starting
May 6.
'The Delo Truck is an educational tool that engages customers and
initiates dialog on a number of key market issues,? said Deanna Eckford,
area business manager, Chevron Lubricants Canada. 'Chevron is revisiting
Eastern Canada this month, with stops in New Brunswick and Newfoundland
for the first time, to further its commitment to customers and marketers
in the Canadian region. The Delo Truck will visit Western Canada this
September. Ultimately, the Delo Truck is designed to help our customers
understand the importance of premium performance heavy-duty engine oils,
lubricants and coolants. Through these visits, we believe customers will
walk away with knowledge to improve revenues through minimized costs.?
The Truck, a rolling ambassador for the Delo brand, was launched in
August of 2011. In exhibit mode, the Delo Truck is 6.8 meters wide and
has learning stations designed to educate customers and the general
public on key market issues, Delo technology and the importance of
premium performance heavy-duty engine oils, lubricants and coolants.
The centerpiece of the Delo Truck is its 19 learning stations ? most
with interactive displays. Along with detailed information on the Delo
product family and the brand′s history, visitors can explore various
market topics, including maximizing drain intervals, debunking the
semi-synthetic myth and interpreting evolving OEM drain recommendations.
Various engine parts are also on display. Included in the display are
parts from a 2.4 million kilometer engine teardown that demonstrates the
long term durability and an 110,000 km drain interval performance.
In Canada, the company supplies its Delo branded lubricants, coolants
and services through Chevron 1st Source Marketers and through
most major OE Dealers. There are ten Chevron 1st
Source marketers in Canada ? these marketers demonstrate the highest
levels of performance and customer satisfaction ? in the country. For a
