CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire - July 16, 2012) - Spartan Oil Corp. ("Spartan" or the "Company") (TSX:STO) announces the departure of Mr. Barry McNamara from his position as Vice President, Development, effective immediately. Mr. McNamara has tendered his resignation from the Company as he intends to focus on other endeavors. The management and board of Spartan would like to thank Mr. McNamara for his service and wish him well in the future.
