Northland Appoints Anders Antonsson as Vice President, Investor Relations

LUXEMBOURG, LUXEMBOURG -- (Marketwire) -- 04/07/11 -- Northland Resources S.A. (TSX: NAU)(OSLO: NAUR)(FRANKFURT: NPK) ('Northland' or 'the Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Anders Antonsson to the position of Vice President, Investor Relations.

Anders' experience of more than 10 years in executive and senior management roles within corporate communications in major listed corporations will bring the knowledge and experience needed to ensure continued high quality investor relations work.'

Mr. Antonsson has most recently served as Senior Consultant of RHR Corporate Communications. Prior to that, he was Head of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at Stockholm-based, Intrum Justitia Group. Anders gained experience also from similar functions with Scancem and Trelleborg Group.

Mr. Antonsson assumes the position with immediate effect.
