A Distribution as a Dividend of Shares of Seven Generations Energy Ltd. (VII) by Paramount Resources Ltd. (POU)

TORONTO, Jan. 3, 2017 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

Paramount Resources Ltd. (TSX:POU) has announced that it will distribute to its shareholders by way of a dividend its remaining shareholding in Seven Generations Energy Ltd. (TSX:VII). For index purposes, 1,913,526 shares of Seven Generations Energy will be added to the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index at zero price after the close of trading on Wednesday, January 4^th, 2017. These shares will remain in the index until the close of the pay date, which is expected to be Monday, January 16^th, 2017. The shares will then be removed at the MOC price of Seven Generations Energy on that date.
