Troy Resources Limited (ASX:TRY)(TSX:TRY) (Troy or Company) advises that Managing Director and CEO, Mr Paul Benson will be leaving the Company today, Thursday, 31 July 2014. The Company announced Mr Benson's notice of resignation on 29 April 2014.
Mr David Dix, Chairman acknowledged and thanked Mr Benson for his outstanding service to the Company since joining in October 2007.
"Paul has been the driver of Troy's success over the past seven years. During that time he has conducted himself with a high level of professionalism and integrity, particularly in the way he has conducted himself since resigning. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours."
The Board has appointed the Mr Dix, as Interim CEO until the new CEO is appointed and takes over that role. The recruitment process is well advanced, with a short list of high quality candidates, and the Company expects to finalise a new appointment over the coming weeks.
