GoldON Resources Ltd. (GLD - TSX Venture), ("GoldON" or the "Company")formerly Newcastle Minerals Ltd., is pleased to announce that effective at the opening of trading today the Company's share capital began trading on a post-consolidated basis under the new ticker symbol: GLD.
Letters of transmittal describing the process by which shareholders may obtain new GoldON Resources Ltd. certificates representing their consolidated Newcastle Minerals Ltd. common shares will be mailed shortly to registered shareholders. Shareholders who hold their shares through a broker or other intermediary and do not have shares registered in their name will not be required to complete a letter of transmittal. No fractional shares will be issued under the share consolidation, and any fraction will be rounded to the nearest whole number.
GoldON will have 20,713,224 common shares issued and outstanding on a post-consolidation basis. All outstanding warrants and stock options of the Company will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the share consolidation.
The Company is now proceeding with an equity financing to fund the next phase of exploration on its 100% owned Swayze Gold Property that adjoins
IAMGOLD's multi-million ounce Cote Gold Project. IAMGOLD is also the Company's largest shareholder and has expressed an interest in participating in the financing.
