Jazz Resources regrets to announce that Doug Philip has passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. Doug will be greatly missed both as a director of the Company and as a friend. Doug contributed significantly to the emergence of Jazz Resources Inc. as a public company. The remaining directors of the Company, Bryan Glen, Jo Shearer, and Sean Butler will continue to take care of the affairs of the Company.
Jazz Resources announces that the BC Ministry of Forestry and Range has temporarily reduced the load limit on the Fish River Canyon Bridge to 10 tons. The reduced load limit will remain in effect until engineers can determine the safety of rock bolting on a bluff above the bridge. At the present time the reduced load limit will have a minimal impact on Jazz Resources Inc.
Jazz Resources has been issued a permit for a pilot mill and tailings pond from the BC Ministry of Energy and Mines at the former Spider mine mill site near Camborne B.C. The mill will be used to process bulk samples of mineralization from the Company's Teddy Glacier property. The mill site was historically used for processing ore from the adjacent Spider Mine.
